For the last 16 years, Michael has been working in his own business known as BOQ North Rockhampton, with his business partner Matthew Sleaford. They are very proud of their banking business, and the strong small business customer base that has been built over the years. THE BOQ business is a franchise, so with being self-employed Michael has a good understanding of the challenges that small businesses are facing in this region.

He has a keen interest in sports such as rugby league & AFL, & enjoy outdoor activities, like camping, bike riding, & hiking.

Michael & his wife packed up & made the big move from Rockhampton to Emu Park 4 years ago, and they are really enjoying the coastal lifestyle, & the small town community atmosphere of Emu Park. Capricornia certainly is a special place to live.
