The Clarke Creek Local Business Participation Program is a key initiative designed to maximise opportunities for local suppliers to participate in the Clarke Creek Wind Farm Project. 

With Expressions of Interest opportunities now open on the ICN Gateway, interactive workshops have been scheduled to assist you to update or create your capability statement and ICN Gateway Profile. These sessions will provide you with helpful information to submit high quality submissions to maximise your opportunity in securing contracts.

ICN Gateway Profile Improvement and Expression of Interest Workshop

Monday 11 February 2019 8:00am-2:30pm – Rockhampton

This workshop is designed to help local suppliers maximise their chances of winning contracts through the provision of advice and assistance on how to enhance their company profile and expression of interest submissions on the ICN Gateway.

Specific topics include:

  • Who are the ICN and what do they do?
  • What is the ICN Gateway and how is it used by major projects?
  • What does an effective ICN Gateway company profile look like and what are the improvements suppliers should make?
  • How do suppliers’ express interest in supply opportunities?

Effective Capability Statement Workshop

Wednesday 6 February 2019 8:30am-12:00pm – Rockhampton 

The Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning’s interactive Effective Capability Statement workshop will assist you to understand what a capability statement is and how to develop and prepare an effective capability statement that will stand out in the marketplace.

You will learn;

  • why a capability statement is important
  • how to use your capability statement to market your product or service
  • how to use your capability statement to accompany contract tender submissions
  • best practice fundamentals for developing and drafting a powerful capability statement
  • how to access the latest information on Queensland’s supply chain opportunities

Clarke Creek Wind Farm Project Opportunities

Clarke Creek Wind Farm is located approximately 150 kilometers north-west of Rockhampton. The Queensland Government has recently approved the construction and operation of up to 195 wind turbines and ancillary civil and electrical infrastructure.

Lacour Energy has partnered with Goldwind Australia to deliver the project. Goldwind will supply wind turbines to the project and manage construction works.

The Clarke Creek Wind Farm Project has now listed 17 work packages on the ICN Gateway for expressions of interests (EOI) to be submitted.
