If you are planning to tender for work at Shoalwater Bay, are interested in supplying to Defence industries, or want to improve your chances of securing defence work you can apply now for the International and Industry Certification stream of the Defence and Aerospace Industry Development fund being offered by the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning.
Matched funding of $10,000 to $30,000 is available to support eligible small to medium enterprises obtain certification of their business operations and goods or services to international industry-specific requirements.
The eligible certifications are fully listed in the attached guidelines however they include:
- Quality Management Systems ISO 9001:2015
- Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001:2015
- Occupational Health and Safety ISO 45001:2016
To be eligible, applicants must be in defence, aerospace or information security supply-chains ordemonstrate the capability and intention to do so. Defence supply chains include defence infrastructure projects such as construction work at Shoalwater Bay.
