On 18 October 2018 the Capricornia Chamber of Commerce participated in a consultation session with local businesses conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland.  The session was aimed at getting views from local business on topics including skills shortages and other HR issues, the tax burden on small business and red tape reduction.

CCIQ also drew attention to an initiative it is auspicing, Job Creators Australia.  This initiative aims to establish an online community to enable small businesses to share and publicise their issues and bring them to politicians’ attention.  More details can be found at:
