Remaining Modern Award Minimum Wage Increases Effective from 1 October 2022 We advised members in our 1 July IR Alert that the Fair Work Commission announced an increase to the National Minimum Wage and Modern Awards. The exception is ten specified modern awards in the aviation, tourism and hospitality sectors which were delayed by three months. From 1 October 2022, the below increases take effect:
A $40 per week / 5.2% increase to National Minimum Wage (NMW)For all other modern award wage rates, a 4.6% increase or $40 per week, whichever is the higher. 

CCIQ has now published links to Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) Pay Guides for the 1 October 2022 Modern Award increases Members can access the Pay Guides by logging in to their account through CCIQ website.

These contain the current minimum rates of pay monetary allowances and most frequently used penalty rates for each classification of full-time, part-time and casual employees.
