Celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) by joining Carers Queensland and Arts Central Queensland to celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability with a free showing of the movie Ride Like a Girl.
The movie portrays Michelle Payne and her brother Stevie, who lives with Down Syndrome, and their journey to Michelle’s historic Melbourne Cup win.
You will also hear from guest speakers who will share their experience living with disability and their achievements and contributions to the community.
