Future of Work Program – Diploma of Business in the Digital Age applications

Applications for the Business and IT Advanced Apprenticeship program are still open and there are a small number of spots left to participate. This program is a great opportunity to support skills development and upskilling in the region and we are very excited to see a first cohort preparing for commencement in July this year.

At this stage, we would like to encourage employees and employers from different sectors in the region to apply. This is an amazing opportunity for businesses looking to upskill their staff or recruit people into their organisation. BHP is providing funding to support employers and employees participating in the program, including:

  • Funding for up to 90% of a student’s tuition fees (~$12,500)
  • $1,000 to support students to access study tools
  • $5,000 supervisor incentive payment for employers
  • Wage subsidy contribution of up to $17,000 or 20% of the employee’s salary for time spent off-the-job.
