Businesses are encouraged to nominate within the nine judged categories prior to Wednesday 30th September.
Awards will be announced at the 2026 Capricorn Best in Business Awards Gala on Friday 27th November, with tickets to the Gala Dinner to be released in the coming weeks.

Nominations Open for the 2026 Capricorn Best in Business Awards
Businesses, organisations and individuals across the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton Region are invited to showcase their achievements, with nominations now officially open for the 2026 Capricorn Best in Business Awards.
Presented by Capricorn Enterprise and the Capricornia Chamber of Commerce, the awards are entering their fifth year, celebrating excellence across business, tourism, manufacturing and community.
Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll said the awards had become an important opportunity to recognise the businesses and individuals helping shape the Capricorn Region.
“Every year we’re inspired by the calibre of nominations and the stories of innovation, success and leadership from across our region,” Mary said.
“Whether you’re a new business, an established organisation, an outstanding employee or an inspiring business leader, these awards are an opportunity to celebrate your achievements and gain valuable recognition.”
Capricornia Chamber of Commerce President Jason Foss said the awards highlighted the strength and diversity of the local business community.
“Our local businesses are the backbone of the Capricorn economy. They create jobs, invest in their communities and continue to innovate despite the challenges of today’s business environment,” Jason said.
“I encourage businesses of every size, as well as community organisations and individuals, to nominate and celebrate the positive impact they’re making across our region.”
