Psychosocial Risks Are Becoming a Bigger Issue for Employers

Regional employers are being encouraged to better understand psychosocial risks in the workplace, with South Geldard Lawyers opening a second Rockhampton Breakfast Bite session due to strong demand.

The session will focus on issues such as burnout, bullying, workload pressure, and poor workplace behaviour, and how these are increasingly being viewed as legal and regulatory risks — not just HR concerns.

Event details:

  • Friday, 15 May 2026
  • 8:00am – 9:30am
  • South Geldard Lawyers, Rockhampton Office
  • Includes coffee, refreshments, and networking
  • Limited to 12 attendees

The session is aimed at helping employers understand their responsibilities around psychological health and safety in the workplace, particularly as regulators place greater focus on psychosocial hazards across Australian businesses.

For many businesses, this may include reviewing workplace culture, communication practices, leadership behaviour, and workload expectations.

Due to limited numbers, interested businesses are encouraged to register early.
