Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Capricorn Best in Business Awards Gala, with the region’s business community invited to come together for a night celebrating local achievement, innovation and success.
Now in its fifth year, the Capricorn Best in Business Awards have become an important fixture on the regional business calendar, recognising the businesses, leaders, employees, apprentices, trainees and community organisations making a positive contribution across the Capricorn region.
The 2026 Gala will be held on Friday 27 November at Frenchville Sports Club, Rockhampton, bringing finalists, sponsors, industry representatives and the wider business community together for a black-tie celebration.
The Awards provide an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the people and organisations helping to strengthen the region’s economy and business community.
Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll said the Gala was an opportunity to recognise not only business success, but the people and passion behind it.
“Every year, the Best in Business Awards remind us just how much talent, innovation and determination exists within our local business community,” Mary said.
“From our small businesses and emerging entrepreneurs through to established employers, apprentices, trainees and community organisations, there are so many people doing exceptional things across our region.”
“The Gala is our opportunity to bring that community together, celebrate their achievements and recognise the important contribution local businesses and their people make to the strength and future of our region.”
This year’s program features a broad range of award categories, recognising everything from small, medium and large businesses through to tourism, manufacturing innovation, business leadership, employees, apprentices and trainees, and community enterprise.
Tickets to the Gala are $170 per person or $1,530 for a table of 10, and include an evening of dining, entertainment, networking and the presentation of the 2026 Best in Business Awards.
Nominations for the Awards also remain open until Wednesday 30 September 2026, giving the community further opportunity to recognise outstanding businesses and individuals deserving of regional recognition.
Businesses are encouraged to nominate their own achievements, recognise exceptional team members, or put forward other businesses and individuals making an impact within the community.
