Yeppoon: Tips and trends revealed at upcoming free digital business workshop

Local businesses throughout the Capricorn Coast region are being invited to attend a Digital Business Workshop, in a joint initiative by Livingstone Shire Council and the Queensland Government.

The free workshop is jam-packed with practical advice to help guide you in making investments in digital technologies in your business, plus provide you with the digital skills you need to grow your business.

Deputy Mayor and Council’s Digital Economy and Innovation Champion Councillor Nigel Hutton said “technology can help you improve your business in many ways, but often the hard part is knowing where to start.”

“More and more we’re seeing digital methods leading the way in innovation to improve productivity and efficiency for local businesses, and Council is thrilled to be assisting the Queensland Government in delivering this workshop for local businesses in our community,” Cr Hutton said.

“During the workshop, you’ll discover current digital trends and how they impact your business, how to use data for better business decision-making, tips for using online analytics to track your business performance and how to improve your online presence and customer experience.

“You’ll also develop a ready-to-go digital action plan to improve your business systems, security and productivity.

“Digital Business workshops are designed for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) and not-for-profits (NFPs) to identify ways of improving their digital capability and become more competitive in today’s digital marketplace.

“We hope everyone who attends is able to take away something valuable that they can apply to help improve their operations going forward.
