✨ Shop Here This Year – Buy Local Livingstone Has Officially Launched! 🎄🛍️

Livingstone Shire Council is excited to kick off the Buy Local Livingstone campaign for the festive season — encouraging everyone toShop Here This Year and support the amazing local businesses that make our region shine!

From now until 5 January 2026, we’re calling on our community to back local retailers, cafés, tradies, service providers, and all the hardworking businesses across the Capricorn Coast.

And yes… there is a prize! 🎁 Thanks to the generosity of Yeppoon Small Motors, you can be in the running to win a STIHL RMA 460 battery lawnmower, with battery and charger, valued at over $900!

Shoppers can enter the Buy Local Prize Draw simply by:

🛍️ Making a purchase at any local business, registered in Livingstone Shire
📸 Uploading a clear photo of your receipt (business name + date)
📝 Registering your details (just so we can contact you when you win 😉)

Mayor Adam Belot says it best:
“When we shop local, we’re not just buying a product – we’re supporting our neighbours, helping local families thrive, and keeping money circulating within our community.”

Whether it’s your morning coffee, Christmas shopping, or booking a local service, every dollar spent locally strengthens our community and economy.

Plus, you can support local businesses in other easy ways:
👍 Like and share their posts
⭐ Leave positive reviews
📣 Tag them online
🛍️ Choose local whenever you can

Keep an eye out for our Buy Local video, celebrating Yeppoon’s vibrant CBD, coastal charm, and the incredible businesses that make it all possible.

Let’s make this festive season count — for our community, for our businesses, and for the Capricorn Coast.
