Meet our presenter

Sue Johnston is an award-winning leader, businesswoman and educator.  She’s also a Central Queensland native, now living in the Adelaide Hills with her hubby Marty (who she met and married in Rockhampton!), teenage son and daughter, some chooks and a sheep.  

Sue runs a bespoke consulting and professional development firm, Reinventure Australia.  Sue has embedded the power of storytelling into all of Reinventure’s service, as a communication tool to boost customer, employee and community engagement.  Storytelling in an increasingly digital world helps to translate the complex and technological change which should be part of all professionals’, businesses’, and community’s toolkit.  Sue will provide you with some of the science and plenty of practical tips to tell stories that are moving, memorable and will motivate people to take action.

Sue keeps her knowledge and skills sharp as a part-time lecturer and serves on Boards in the Not For Profit sector.  She has written and delivered content for Australia’s number 1 MBA, the Australian Institute of Business, on entrepreneurship.  She has also mentored digital business startups on using storytelling techniques in digital marketing and pitching.

Sue has provided strategic advice, coaching and support to many organisations and individuals helping them to embrace opportunities and tackle the challenges presented as a result of digital transformation and the need for continual professional reinvention.
