Creating an Energising Mission
Does your organisation have a very clear internal mission of what it is doing and why? If I asked people in the company, could they explain to me in the same terms what problems and opportunities the company has over the defined period of time, and broadly what is going to be done?
Once companies have become great at identifying and resolving problems at every level of the organisation, then the next step is to institutionalise the ability for the company to come together and redo the mission regularly as the world is changing.
